Asian-Pacific Energy Forum(APEF), a private, non-profit organization, has been established in Tokyo, Japan in 1994.
Main objective is to make consensus on the common issues on energy and environment in the Asia-Pacific region, and
further to create the forum of the exchanges of views and discussions with view to achieve the reliability's and to develop
cooperative relations of the regional leaders.
  • Hold a forum inviting corporations, institutions and individuals to discuss
    • energy and environmental issues
    as well as related policies in this region.
 
  • Conduct joint survey and/or research, and make proposals on the topics
    • related to energy and environmental issues
    in this region.
 
  • Select Councilors, and hold the Board of Councilors .The Councilors
    • shall be selected and appointed from those in the
    international community     centering on Asia-Pacific, who have knowledge, insight, and influence.
    The Board of Councilors shall be held, as appropriate, to take initiatives     as deemed necessary.
 
  • Conduct survey /research on contract basis with Forum Members(s),
    • other organization(s), or individual(s)
    as necessary.
 
  • Conduct any other activities required to achieve Forum's objectives.
